Who We Are

At Dental AI, we believe Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool to transform Dentistry—from diagnosis to clinical decision support. Our project is dedicated to critical analysis, scientific curation, and accessible dissemination of cutting-edge AI applications in dental practice.

Our focus is on analyzing scientific literature, identifying trends, and clearly communicating AI applications in Dentistry across clinical, academic, and technological contexts. We do not create, promote, or endorse commercial AI solutions in Dentistry. We maintain complete independence from such solutions, committed to informing, clarifying, and fostering conscious AI usage.

Through videos, articles, e-books, and analyses, we aim to translate science into useful knowledge for dentists, researchers, graduate students, and professionals interested in the future of Dentistry.

The project is coordinated by Dr. Nielsen S. Pereira, dentist, specialist in Oral Radiology and Health Informatics, Master’s degree holder from the Department of Radiology at the UFRJ School of Medicine, with experience in data science, medical imaging, and ethical AI applications in Dentistry.
